An evening of some of Mozart's finest jewels. The two piano quartets top and tail the programme - very different in mood and colour, with the sparkling flute quartet in C major and a charming Serenade for oboe and strings.   Added to the programme for colour and spice, Benjamin Britten's enigmatic Phantasie Quartet for oboe and strings and the companion piece by Eugene Goosens, whose brother Leon Goosens was a wonderful oboist of his day and to whom the Britten quartet is dedicated. This promises to be an interesting and most enjoyable evening perfect for a beautiful Spring evening.  Tickets always sell well so do not delay!
