Comedians from the Farrelly brothers to Seth MacFarlane have said how much Airplane has influenced them. Of course it has dated as have many 80's films but Airplane remains the master of spoof. You will groan, you will cringe but most of all you will laugh. The gags come thick and fast in this silly, playful satire of film cliches. Leslie Nielsen stelas the show as the onboard doctor.
