'Kaj Nazar' Opera

Kaj Nazar (Nazar the Brave) is a comic opera by Haro Stepanian, based on a folk fairytale and Hovhanes Tumanian's famous work of the same title.
Known and beloved in Armenia and across the Diaspora, Kaj Nazar tells the tale of a boastful and delusional man who sits
at home and daydreams all day. Nazar's laziness drives his long-suffering wife Ustian, who does all the housework, to the verge of insanity! Ultimately a "fairytale" turn of events brings his dream to life.
