Celebrating Irving Berlin

Friday 31 May 2024, 7.30-9.30pm

Irving Berlin was a prolific composer who wrote more than 1,500 songs over his 101 years lifespan. Mezzo soprano Jane Monari and tenor Christian Schneeberger sing some of his most familiar melodies, accompanied by Derek Clark, in this beautifully constructed presentation of his life story. Feel free to hum along to Alexander’s Ragtime Band, Blue Skies, Won’t You Play a Simple Melody, I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm, and many more. An evening of great tunes which will appeal to those new to Irving Berlin as well as established fans.
