Guthrie's Goslings!

Join Guthrie the Goose as he playfully introduces our youngest visitors to a different artwork or theme each month. Sessions can include a mixture of music, dance, crafts and games. Suitable for pre-school children ages 2–5 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Explore the shapes and patterns in our Abstract Art gallery then have fun experimenting with a lots of lovely mark-making materials! This is a messy activity - please wear old clothes and we recommend you bring an old towel and a change of clothes.

If you love the idea of a messy activity, but can’t bear to do it at home, come along and get your hands on charcoal to draw, smudge and blend – we’ll do the tidying up, so you don’t have to! Join Guthrie in his studio and work on your own mini masterpiece. This month we experiment with smaller painting surfaces and using delicate brushes to encourage careful strokes.  
This is a messy activity.  Please wear old clothes. We advise bringing a spare change of clothes and an old towel.
