Joe Stollery – Three Pieces

Aberdeen-based composer Joe Stollery has composed music inspired by three paintings in the Aberdeen Art Gallery: The Twa Corbies by Campbell Lindsay Smith, Afterglow by Joseph Farquharson and Tussle for the Keg by John Pettie. These three pieces will be introduced by the composer and performed live, in front of the paintings, in Gallery 9 of the Art Gallery, featuring Catherine O’Rourke (alto flute), Joanna Nicholson (bass clarinet), Guera Crockett (violin) Lucy Webster (bassoon) and Alison MacDonald (cello).
