Following the success of Great Expectations at Merton Arts Space, Attic presents the world premiere of an exhilarating one man show adapted from Tolstoy’s masterpiece by acclaimed playwright Stephen Sharkey. 

October 6th - 29th at Merton Arts Space, 7.30pm

Play in a Day - a workshop

A two day workshop for aspiring playwrights, actors and directors aged 14-18.

Meeting on Saturday the young actors, writers and directors will workshop ideas for new short plays. The writers will then go away and write them overnight, delivering them on Sunday to be rehearsed for performance in Bookfest’s William Morris tent on Sunday evening.

A fast and furious creative opportunity for the young creatives of Wimbledon. 

The Play Factory will be run by Attic Theatre Company’s artistic director Jonathan Humphreys. In addition to running Attic, Jonathan is National Theatre Connections associate director and has directed in leading theatres across the country. 

Saturday 14th October 2pm to 6pm and Sunday 15th October 10am to 8pm
£50 per person

Places are limited to: 6 writers, 18 actors, 6 directors.
