The Avenue Theatre Privacy Notice
The Avenue Theatre and The Little Box Office (our ticket provider) respect the rights of its customers and their personal details and is in full agreement with the principles outlined in the Data Protection Act. In the interest of honesty and transparency, we hope that this privacy notice is clear, concise and informative.
What information do we gather?
The only mandatory information we ask for is that which is needed to complete the ticket sale at the bare minimum, requiring that you provide us only with your full name and e-mail address.
Payment is handled separately, and securely, through Stripe, so those details are never gathered by us and we never have access to them
Why we need this information, how we process it and for what purpose.
We need this information as part of the contract for ticket sales. We also collect and use your data for the purpose of direct email marketing (future events at the theatre that may be of interest to you) unless you choose to opt out. You will be given the option to opt out (unsubscribe) from each marketing email you received from us.
Who will we share your information with?
We do not share the information we collect with any third party apart from The Little Box Office, who host the ticket booking site and hold this information for us. They are also subject to the Data Protection Act in the same manner we are. However, with regard to Covid and any future regulations, we may share your information with other parties, but ONLY as the law requires.
How we protect your information?
We follow the Information Commissioner's Office's recommendations for our own data security.

What rights do you have to access, change or remove your information?
Among others, you have the right to a copy of the information we've collected off you. Additionally, you are entitled to have inaccurate personal data rectified or destroyed. We welcome any amendments you may suggest, as it is also our obligation to keep any data we collect as accurate as reasonably possible.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Notice at any time. Any changes we may make to our Privacy Notice in the future will be notified and made available to you using the Website. Your continued use of the services and the Website shall be deemed your acceptance of the varied privacy policy.
