Friday 31st August 2018: 7pm - £16 (Friends of BMJ £15)Dale Storr is recognised as one of the UK’s leading exponents of New Orleans piano.
The evocative music of New Orleans became a passion and he immersed himself into the styles of heroes like Professor Longhair, Dr.John, Allen Toussaint, Tuts Washington and James Booker.
The latter performer became a particular source of inspiration and resulted in Dale studying the sometimes complex technique of this legendary pianist/singer.
