The Ruins of Talgarth by Vic Mills Another chance to see this multi award winning play by Vic Mills, and directed by Neil Maidman prior to it being performed at the Liverpool International Theatre Festival in Nova Scotia, Canada.  This play is based on a true story. Jean has been committed at the age of 18 to the lunatic asylum in Talgarth ( known as ‘The Bin’) at the insistence of her husband, William.  We try to understand what that experience might have been like  for Jean and the reasons that her husband “put her in the bin”.   Guidance: Suitable for over 14s.Tickets are free - but donations on the night to BLT would be most welcome.
