Theatre - Awkward Stranger: Doorways in Drumorty
Way back in 1925, Lorna Moon wrote a series of scurrilous tales about people in her home town, thinly disguised as Drumorty. The characters she described – the gossip, the sweet old lady with the steely determination, the farmer who hates ‘ootsiders’ – can be found in any small town today. Hilarious and relevant, Mike Gibbs’ play will have you squirming with recognition and laughing in delight.
