'Bang Up The Elelphant' is a music and talk show by Fool's Gold.
Fool’s Gold is a North East acoustic duo consisting of Carol and Steve Robson. They play original and traditional music, they are folk-ish, without being trad. They play a variety of instruments during their shows, guitars, flute, whistles, bass and ukulele feature regularly.

A Fool’s Gold show is rooted in music but is much more than just a concert performance. Their live show uses live music, story and projected visuals to weave a fascinating show for all ages.

As well as performing the songs live, they reveal the stories behind the songs, the histories and mysteries, tragedies and romances that gave rise to original and very well-known songs. 

The show has a theme, which adds to the interest, and engages the audience from the beginning. The theme for this show is our eminent ancestors The Victorians! You can imagine the fun we are having deciding on themes, Characters and events. Plus there is a vast treasure trove very well known songs from the Golden Age of Music Hall.
So, come along and expect to sing, expect to laugh and expect to enjoy a varied night of music and their tales!
