Walk 3.1 Gala’s Hills
Take a view of Galashiels town along the tops of her most prominent hills.  Traditionally called the ‘Gala Alps Challenge’ you will visit the summits of Neidpath, Meigle, Buckholm, Blaikies and Gala Hills.  Open hill pasture, field margins, forest and town

Walk 3.2 Abbeys Way (Selkirk to Galashiels)
The Borders Abbeys Way is a circular walk connecting five Scottish Borders towns.  This section starts over Selkirk Hill passing through Half Crown Corner and continues on an old drove road by Faldonside Moor to Cauldshiels Loch.  From Abbotsford on River Tweed you will follow the Southern Upland Way back to Galashiels.

Walk 3.3 Rhymers Glen and Abbotsford
A walk exploring the landscape and history surrounding Sir Walter Scott’s Abbotsford Estate.  From Huntlyburn a short climb through the wooded Rhymers Glen then cross Bowden Moor to Cauldshiels Loch.  Dropping down by Faldonside to the River Tweed and Abbotsford House returning to Galashiels.

Walk 3.4 Gala Policies Easy Access
A very easy Paths to Health walk past the pond and the site of the ‘new’ Gala House to a viewpoint across Gala Hill, Mossilee, Ladhope and Buckholm.  Assisted wheelchair users welcome.
