Our programme explores the music of the great French composers and organists of the 19th and 20th centuries. Nadia Boulanger studied composition with Gabriel Faure. Louis Vierne was organist at Notre Dame de Paris for 37 years. His students included Nadia Boulanger as well as Maurice Durufle who was at his side when he died at the console of the Notre Dame organ, aged 66.
