String Sextet in Bb opus 18

Two of the greatest pieces ever written for small string ensemble - not to be missed!

The performers are members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and are excited to be playing small scale chamber-music for the Festival.  The Schubert is one of the greatest pieces of music ever written and compliments the Brahms Sextet perfectly.

The  CinC Ensemble, directed by the exuberant violinist Ellie Fagg, will play two of the greatest master-pieces ever written for small string ensemble - not to be missed! The performers are all members of London’s top orchestras and string quartets and are delighted to be playing this wonderful repertoire for the Festival.

Described by the Strad magazine as playing ‘with a sense of enchantment’, Ellie Fagg enjoys an exciting and eclectic career performing as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player.
