Online 11+ Spring Short Course

This LIVE course is designed to help Year 5 students develop and consolidate their skills in a relaxed, educational, fun environment.  Live sessions are from 10.00-12.30 each day.
The course runs daily starting on Monday 27th May, 2024.

The course is run by two highly qualified and experienced teachers together, who both privately tutored for the 11+ GL Assessment with a 100% passing success rate in 2023.

The course is suitable for both those new to the 11+ and those with some previous knowledge of the question types, seeking to improve their level through an increased understanding of strategies and techniques. During the week we cover all key elements of the 11+ Gloucestershire Test, with each day consisting of English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning topics.

The course takes place on five mornings, with each morning lasting 2 1/2 hours. Every morning will be in two parts, divided by a short, 15- minute break. Using the chat function on Zoom®, the tutors follow the children’s level of understanding and reinforce concepts where necessary without the children ever feeling inhibited through concerns of giving a wrong answer. By this means children are also free to ask questions as we go along, which often enhances, but never interrupts teaching. Our low tutor-pupil ratio also allows lessons to focus on quality; allowing us to make pathway adjustments as they arise.

Extension activities will also be offered throughout the week which may be completed dailyor at another time.
