Swede Caroline is a hilarious British mockumentary that turns the spotlight on the fiercely competitive and shadowy world of competitive, giant vegetable growers.
When Caroline (Jo Hartley), as she readies herself for the big annual National Veg Championship, finds her prized marrow (named Ricky Hutton) is stolen, she and her fellow growers, conspiracy theorist Paul (Richard Lumsden) and affable Willy (Celyn Jones), are led into a seedy world of crime as they attempt to find the culprit.
In her quest for answers, Caroline hires two unlikely private detectives (Aisling Bea and Ray Fearon), only for them to be dramatically kidnapped. Igniting a far-fetched link to her missing marrows, Caroline's search catapults her into a national corruption scandal, reaching the highest echelons of power.
