This is a wander along paths and tracks to discover nature reserves and wildlife in a variety of habitats close to Brecon. 
From Brecon, we will climb the Crug Iron-age Hill Fort and visit two contrasting nature reserves, Llandefaelog Wood and Cae Eglwys meadow.  We will return along the Honddu valley to Priory Woods and Brecon.

Directions to start
From CRiC take the A40 to Brecon and go into the town centre, following the one way system to the traffic lights just past the library, down the hill and before the river bridge. At the lights take the second right hand turn (not sharp right) along Watergate and Kensington Car Park is immediately on your left (Pay and Display). To obtain directions from another location, click on the map below, then click on Directions and add your starting location.
