A pleasant circular walk around the Dyffryn Crawnon. The route rises from Llangynidr village and the canal through woodlands and fields to reach the road head at Tor y Foel and spectacular views across the Beacons and Black Mountains. It continues on the Brinore tram road around the head of the Dyffryn to reach Trefil quarries and the limestone. Onward along the south east side of the valley at a high level through typical upland limestone scenery to finally descend sharply through fields and then a pleasant and gradual return to the start where hopefully the Red Lion will be open for orders!
