A stroll along the lovely river Usk, the canal and the river Crawnon.  Waterfalls, rapids, locks, standing stone, church and lots more history. From the start an easy walk down to the river Usk, and then along the footpath going west to join the canal in the village of Llangynidr. A look at a series of locks, a Victorian workhouse and then along the Crawnon river to join footpaths and roads to finish.

Directions to Start
Allow 30 mins from CRiC. From the front of CRiC take A40 towards Brecon and turn left opposite the Shell petrol station. Drive over Crickhowell’s river bridge and turn right follow this road for 4 miles. keep straight on as you enter the village and the Coach & Horses is on your left with a large car park on your right, just before you cross the canal.
