A delightful walk along the river Usk, then through the Glanusk Estate – kindly opened by the Estate – and back via the Mon & Brec Canal. From CRiC this easy walk takes you through Bull Pit Meadow and along the side of the river, with great views up to the Darren. The fine bridge across the river takes you into the Estate lands and out on the south side, where a short ascent takes you onto the canal. The canal walk back is peaceful, with plenty of wildlife.
