Our journey continues along the lane Blaen-y-cwm-uchaf and a steep climb to a ridge walk to Cefn Moel and a gradual descent to the village of Bwlch. The route then continues to descend across fields and the B4560 across the packhorse bridge to Llangynidr and onward to our meeting point at the village hall car park.

Directions to Start
Allow 30 mins from CRiC. From the front of CRiC take A40 towards Brecon and turn left opposite the Shell petrol station. Drive over Crickhowell’s river bridge and turn right follow this road for 4 miles. As you enter Llangynidr, you will pass signs on the left for the Red Lion and then a bus shelter, also on the left. Turn immediately left into the car park which is opposite the village hall. No charge.
