Live Music - DUO PRIMAVERA

Duo Primavera is a husband and wife duo - Ian Watt (guitarist) and Kristiina Watt (guitarist, theorbist and lutenist) who are inpsired by the famous duo of Dionisio Aquado and Frenando Sor two great virtuosos of the early guitar. 

​Ian was born in Scotland and has appeared throughout the world giving solo performances in USA, China, Brazil, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Ukraine, Denmark, Holland, Estonia and Belgium.  He studied with Alan Neave at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland between 20018 and 2012 and his awards include 1st prize (and the audience and junior jury prizes) at the Heinsberg International Guitar competition 2011, 1st prize at the ‘ Westfalian Guitar Spring’ International Competition 2010, 2nd prize at the Parening International Guitar Competition 2009.
Kristiina  musical studies began as a pianist and singer in her native Estonia, however she later chose to concentrate on the classical guitar upon entering Tallin Music High School, one of the country’s foremost establishments for the training of classical musicians.
