These sessions are actual hands-on building with electronics and programming using Arduino Technology, we have specially designed Early Engineering kit boxes for the sessions. The early engineers will learn about electronics, programming and robotics! No previous experience or skills are necessary as we cover everything required in these sessions. The maximum class size is limited to 12 and the minimum 4. After graduating from the Level 1 sessions the Early Engineers can then enrol for the Level 2 sessions.
The early engineers will learn about electronics, programming and robotics. This is our most popular session and introduces early engineers to the basic principles of science. technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The methodology of Early Engineers is learning the subjects through stories and demonstrations. The highlight of each lesson is the building stage of a model that demonstrates the lesson’s subject using the relevant technology.
Note that there is an option to buy the box of electronic components at the onset of the sessions so that the Early Engineer keeps their own kit for future builds. Those who buy also become a member of our Early Engineer eClub for free and they can download all the code and lessons online.
Session benefits
Develops motor skillsSessions and projects such as:
LED chaser / light bar
Making things move : servo and motor control
Electronic dice
Ultrasonic range finder
Building a radar with an ultrasonic distance sensor
The final project is to build a `Loopy Battle Tank`
