Maths tuition : for children in Primary 7 (1 hour)

Children can learn to appreciate Maths with a little extra help from Early Engineering!

Maths is taught in Primary School at a fast pace from learning basic number bonds, addition and subtraction, 
The children are soon moving on to more difficult concepts such as percentages, fractions and decimals.
Some children can fail to keep up and fully understand the basic maths skills required to be able for them to progress onto learning more difficult maths concepts.
If gaps in basic numeracy and maths have developed, moving on for some children can become very difficult resulting in stress, lack of confidence and an "I can't do" attitude.  This can be very distressing for parents and maths homework can often be a stressful time for parents and children alike.  At Early Engineering we understand this and we can put in place a maths learning programme to cover areas of weakness and build stronger foundations to ensure future learning and understanding.

These sessions help children prepare for the transition from Primary to Secondary School and are designed for problem solving skills, improving memory, abstract thinking, evaluation and knowledge retention.
