1 hour WORKSHOP session : Build your own fighting ant-weight combat robot (Brechin)

In these sessions we will cover the design and build of an ant-weight combat robot that you keep.
Parts are available to buy for your robot at these sessions.
These sessions are suitable for children aged 8 to 108.
Note : Anyone under 13 must be accompanied by an adult for free. We actually recommend this as a parent.child activity
Note : These are open sessions that anyone can attend, these are not school specific..

Your fighting robot will need items such as:
Two geared motors and mounts
Electronic speed controller for the DC motors
A receiver and transmitter
A servo for the flipper weapon if in design
NiMH Battery pack & charger required
Power switch
Material for a chassis, armour, wheels etc

You need to use your imagination to design your own fighting robot, guided by our engineering tutor. To keep the costs down you can use our battery chargers and transmitters when at our events.

After building your first battle robot you can upgrade and change weapons as you want because its yours! All combats will be conducted in our safe robot wars arena battle box. You can enter your fighting robot in our ROBOT COMBAT sessions and in national events.
