Endelienta Baroque - EARTHSONG

Endelienta Baroque: EARTHSONG
Saturday 4 November, 7.30pm
St Endellion Church
£12 | Free for accompanied under 16s

Endelienta Baroque return to St Endellion to showcase two new commissions by emerging composer Alice Beckwith, alongside Handel’s German Arias and some of his most colourful and exuberant instrumental music. The concert forms part of a wider project, EARTHSONG, in which the ensemble use concerts and workshops to empower schools, audiences and performers to explore their natural environment and the climate crisis. The concert will be followed by a Q&A with the composer and ensemble. This project is funded by Arts Council England.

Founded at St Endellion in 2016, Endelienta Baroque comprises some of the country’s most exciting young performers on period instruments. The ensemble is committed to involving audiences in the shared joy of music-making and eradicating the austere and all-too-often “staged” nature of chamber music performance.
