Writer-photographer David R Abram has spent over a decade exploring prehistoric monuments from the air.

Collected in David’s acclaimed Aerial Atlas of Ancient Britain, his images are by turns hauntingly beautiful and revelatory. He shows how tombs, stone circles and burial mounds created thousands of years ago were, in effect, a form of ritual art using landscape as both its material and subject to inspire a sense of awe. If you’ve heard David speak before you’ll know his talks yield as much entertainment as they do archaeological insight, and we’re greatly looking forward to seeing what wonders he will be unveiling for us.
