Flash Fiction is an increasingly popular form that combines sharp, lean writing with often experimental content. 

Promoting imagination and ensuring clarity of ideas, flash fiction inspires the mind to think succinctly. Not only does a mastery of the form allow you to produce exciting, memorable short pieces, it can also help to craft rousing introductions, vignettes, and significant moments of characterization.

This lively workshop will include an informal lecture on the form, readings and discussions of exemplary flash pieces, generative prompts and an opportunity to produce and share work.
