We’re excited to let you know that there will be fantastic disco, lots of yummy food, balloons, face painting and a magician. There will also be a raffle, gift bags and a host of surprises for our guests of honour the Princesses and the Superheroes.

This extra special event on Saturday 4th April 2020, is being held at the Jubilee Hall in the prestigious Dukinfield Town Hall, Dukinfield. Tickets are only £12.50 for children (1-10yrs) and £5.00 per adult.

Tell me about Gift of a Wedding and the Princess and Superhero Party?
We are a distinctive non-profit charity based in Stalybridge, Tameside. We gift wedding services to people living in the UK with a terminal or life-shortening illness. Our service is open to anyone wishing to marry or renew their wedding vows regardless of age, gender, race or religion. 100% of the net proceeds will go to fund our special Wedding Days. These days provide life-long memories to unfortunate boys and girls all around the UK who will be losing a parent to a terminal or life limiting illness. How much are tickets and how do I purchase them?
Tickets for this special party are as follows:
£12.50 - 1-10 years
£5.00 - Adult
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday 27th February 2020 at 9.30 am and can be purchased through the little box office, click on the buy button to purchase yours tickets.
How many tickets may I book per price bracket?
We are sure you will appreciate that the Princess and Superhero Party is an event for children. So in order to make sure our special little guests enjoy themselves and to conform to safeguarding rules we can only allow one adult per booking.
If both parents of a child wish to come, they should make two separate bookings and each adult must bring a different child. The same child's details cannot be used on two separate bookings.
IMPORTANT - If a booking is made for one adult and one child, but on the day of the party the adult does not bring a child, they will forfeit entry to the party.
Can I buy tickets for children, other than my own children?
Yes, you can. However, we will need the full details for every adult and child attending, as requested on the booking form.
Will there be a seating plan?
No, when you arrive you will be informed of the table you and your children will be seated at. We promise where possible that adults and children in a specific party will not be separated. Tables at the venue hold either 8 to 10 guests.
Is my ticket transferrable?
Tickets are transferable to another name, within the same ticket price bracket. Please contact us at fundraising@giftofawedding.org to arrange any name changes to tickets. While we will do our best to accommodate your request for a name change, please note that, depending on circumstances and timing, transfer requests are not guaranteed.
What is the refund policy?
Every ticket for The Princess and Superhero Party is non-refundable. However, tickets may transferred to another name, upon request. While we will work to accommodate your request, please note that, depending on circumstances and timing, transfer requests are not guaranteed.
What is the event cancellation policy?
Inclement weather and similar "acts of God" are beyond the control of Gift of a Wedding, and therefore no refunds can be issued if the venue is open and functioning at the time of the event. Refunds for ticket sales will only be provided should the venue make the decision to close before the event begins.
What time does the event start?
Our doors open at 11.15am and our party begins at 12.00 noon.
Is the event suitable for children and infants?
Yes! Our Princess and Superhero Party is designed for children and is a fun event for the whole family. Children aged 1 to 10 are welcome to attend, however, all children and/or infants must be accompanied by a responsible adult. A responsible adult is a person who has reached the age of 18. All children and/or infants must be adequately supervised.
Do I have to bring my ticket?
Yes, please ensure that you bring the printed ticket from www.thelittleboxoffice for each member of your party. Your ticket will be requested upon entry to the Jubilee Suite.
Where and when is The Princess and Superhero Party to be held?
The Jubilee Room, Dukinfield Town Hall, King St, Dukinfield, Cheshire, SK16 4LA between 12.00 (lunchtime) and 3 pm on Saturday, 4th April 2020.
Where is Dukinfield?
Dukinfield is a town in Tameside, Greater Manchester, England, on the south bank of the River Tame opposite Ashton-under-Lyne, 6.3 miles (10.1 km) east of Manchester.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
You can get to Dukinfield Town Hall by Bus,Train or Tram. These are the lines and routes that have stops nearby. Bus: 330 and Bus 41 and Northern trains to Ashton Under Lyne or Guide Bridge train stations and Trams to Ashton Under Lyne.
For cars, there is ample parking at Brunswick Street to the rear of Dukinfield Town Hall. Parking is pay and display and is charged at 50p per 2 hours.
Is there a dress code?
Yes please. We would love all the children to come as Superhero’s or Princesses. We will understand if an adult decide not to come in full fancy dress, but in keeping with the spirit of the event we would encourage adults to wear a tiara or a superhero mask.
What food will be served?
Children’s party food will be served. Please make sure to provide details of any allergies or intolerances you and any children in your party have. Information regarding guests who are vegan or vegetarian would also be helpful.
A bar will be available to purchase both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Gift of a Wedding is unable to provide any drinks at this event.
Will you be accommodating food allergies at this event?
We will do our absolute best to accommodate food allergies. Please provide full details of any allergies when you purchase your ticket. Although we will work with you to accommodate an allergy, please understand that we may not be able to fully accommodate your allergy as we cannot guarantee an allergen free environment. Our caterer does not work in a nut-free environment, and therefore food products as well as those from outside vendors, may have come into contact with nuts.

By attending the Princess and Superhero Party, all guests hereby consent to and authorise the use and reproduction by our photographers of any and all photography and/or videography that has been taken of guests on this day for any purpose, without compensation to you. All digital image and/or video files are wholly owned by Gift of a Wedding, who reserves the right to use these images and/or video for publication.
