The wonderful Weather of OZ
They’re back! Grayshott Panto presents ‘The Wonderful Weather of Oz’. Written by long time panto member Diana Lovelock who is directing for the first time, it is a reflection on the terrible weather we’ve had since she got her puppy last summer, “Why Does it Always Rain on Me?” sing Dorothy and Cousin Dolly. The answer lies in Oz where 4 witches battle to control the weather, resulting in extreme weather events. With fabulous costumes and performances it’s going to be a great welcome back after 2 years. With performances at Grayshott Village Hall on Friday March 25 at 7.30pm and Saturday March 26 at 2.00pm the show will feature over 30 local people on stage from Gold Class at Grayshott Primary School right through all ages. . There are also more than 20 people working off stage to bring the show to you. There will be a bar and refreshments run by PK Preschool, there is a raffle at every performance and on Friday night it is usually run for and on behalf of a local charity which this year is Challengers. The Saturday raffle proceeds go to help subsidise ticket prices which this year remain at £8.00 adults and £4.00 16 and under. The after-show party is held at Grayshott Social Club so it really is a village event. Come along and see it, it is always really good fun.
