Robin Hood!

2020 was the first year GTG had not been able to bring community theatre to the town since 1964! We have been proud that GTG’s annual pantomime has played such an important part of so many of your own Christmas traditions and we promise this year will be the biggest, grandest return to live theatre we can muster!

We owe our survival thus far to the loyalty of our members, volunteers and supporters, but crucially we now call on you, our wonderful audiences to secure our future.
We can’t wait to do what we love and what you love seeing us do! We work hard to ensure community theatre is there for all to enjoy: from our youngest performers with dreams of treading the boards professionally, to families sharing the stage with each other and those just wanting fun and laughter away from the stresses of everyday life. As a charity we don’t profit personally from our shows – but your continued support allows us to involve more people, experiment with new ideas and give our audiences the professional standards you deserve – but without West End ticket prices!

So… can our hero Robin Hood outwit the evil Sheriff of Nottingham to win his bride?
