Entertaining Angels

This play is filled with sharp-edged comedy and probing wit. The Sunday Times said of the original production “Richard Everett has written a warm, glowing, serious comedy, like an Ayckbourn play finished by JM Barrie”, while the London Evening Standard described the play as a “very English comedy with some real emotion .. This is a sure-fire hit”.

As a clergy wife, Grace has spent a lifetime on her best behaviour. Now, following the death of her husband Bardolph, she is enjoying the new-found freedom to do and say exactly as she pleases.
