MARTIN HARLEY (WITH FULL BAND) - CANCELLED

British guitarist and songwriter Martin Harley says he’s ready to make some noise. Well-known for acoustic blues roots and Americana, he’s now teamed up with a new electric band to add oomph to country blues riffs and bottleneck slide playing.

Inspired by blues, gospel and country, Harley delivers catchy slide driven blues wrapped in his warm soulful vocals reminiscent of Little Feat.

He said, “I’m ready to make a bigger noise…. Muddy Waters invented electricity, right?” This is Martin Harley as you’ve never seen or heard him before. His trademark luscious slide playing is still much in evidence but delivered through a fully plugged-in band.

Joining him on stage are drummer Harry Harding (Yola Carter/William the Conquerer); award-winning Australian bassist Rex Horan (Eric Clapton, Van Morrison & Laura Marling) and Hammond maestro Jonny Henderson (Robyn Ford/Matt Schofield).

Martin is a dynamic live performer with frequent appearances in the UK, Europe and the USA.

He has eight albums to his credit, including his latest with the full band, Roll With the Punches, which has received universal acclaim. One reviewer hailing it as“one of the best albums I've heard all year'

In 2018, Total Guitar Magazine ranked him #16 in the World's greatest acoustic guitarist poll and he was nominated as Instrumentalist of the Year at the Americana music awards 2019.
