JHGS Sports Day 2022

INFORMATION FOR PARENTS/CARERS:

We’d love to see you at Sports Day for as little or as much time as you can spare. You’ll be able to wander watching the athletics and tug of war on the field, football on the AstroTurf, tennis on the courts, table tennis in the old gym and dodgeball in the sports hall. Also on the field are fair stalls run by our academic teachers and Y12 students, two ice cream vans, and a tea/coffee light refreshments area for parents and staff.

The ice cream van and the refreshments will be CASH ONLY.

Parking: There is no parking on site. Please park at Handy Cross Hub which is a large car park opposite the school and it’s very affordable.
Signing in: For Safeguarding reasons you must sign in at the compass quad. Then make your way to the sports field. PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE MIDDAY.
Toilets: Parents/Guardians can use staff toilets in the PE corridor which will be signposted.
Seating: There will be a small seating area for parents on the field by the track however you may wish to bring your own ‘camping’ chairs.
