Bristol harbourside experience (AM)

This 2 hour Harbourside experience is a perfect way to enjoy the city of Bristol and discover more about how its Floating Harbour was created and managed.

You’ll begin with a private boat tour taking you the length of the Floating Harbour between Temple Meads Railway Station and the Cumberland Basin with views out towards the Clifton Suspension Bridge. The commentary will give you an insight into Bristol’s maritime history and show how the harbour has adapted to become a centre for social and leisure activities.

The boat will dock at Underfall Yard where you’ll be met for a further private tour of the Yard itself and discover the engineering that created the Floating Harbour and how it is used today. A highlight is seeing the old Victorian machines in action.

It should be a fascinating combination of tours and we would highly recommend it. Plus there’s a lovely cafe at Underfall Yard to enjoy after.
