Bristol South Skyline Walk
This is a wonderful walk full of local history, facts and fabulous skylines across Bristol.
The route starts at Brunel's magnificent Temple Meads Railway Station and hugs the River Avon before crossing over the Sparke Evans footbridge into leafy Arnos Vale Cemetery. There's a couple of steep climbs on paved tracks up to Knowle, but you'll be rewarded with far reaching views right across Bristol. Your route then takes you through a series of lovely parks including Redcatch Park and the Bommie and it's a perfect place to stop and enjoy your packed lunch. The views are amazing and you can see all Bristol's landmark buildings including the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Your return route goes through Victoria Park and the Malago Greenway before crossing Bristol 'banana bridge' back to Temple Meads.
The walk is hilly at times, but there will be plenty of time to catch your breath and the route is on good pavements and footpaths.
There are public toilets along the route. Please bring a packed lunch, water and snacks.
