The Park and Gardens Leisure Trail
This is a lovely short circuit around Ashton Court Mansion House.You’ll begin by walking along the front of the Mansion House, with beautiful southerly views over the sloping lawns. The path then winds down to the rose garden and passes the old ice house before returning through the lower slopes, looking up to the house and magnificent trees above the well-preserved Ha-ha wall.
The route is just over one mile long. There are some steps to negotiate, but most of the paths are gravel and very good underfoot. The path through the lower slopes can be a little muddy if it’s been very wet.
