9G The Mozartists (9G)

Tuesday 9 July | 19.30

The Mozartists specialise in the historically-informed  performance of music by Mozart, winning wide spread acclaim from public and critics alike. They explore Mozart’s travels across Europe, via works composed in London, The Hague, Paris, Munich, Vienna, Prague and Rome. They are joined by soprano Louise Alder (Audience Prize winner, 2017 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World), former Feestival Young Artist, harpist Oliver Wass (soloist for the sublime Concerto for Flute and Harp) and Gavin Edwards, for the much-loved Horn Concerto No. 4 in E flat (featuring the wonderful theme infamously set to words by Flanders and Swann in their “lost horn” song, Ill Wind!).
