CelloDay 2024 // Junior Participants (grades 1-4) and Beginners

Please note: THIS IS NOW SOLD OUT

The London Cello Society is pleased to present CelloDay 2024 in partnership with the Royal Academy of Music. Our annual CelloDay is always an exciting time to reunite and share the joys of playing together, as well as learning new skills and getting those warm-ups and cello techniques rolling. As always, there will be the chance to perform in masterclasses with some of the UK’s finest teachers.

This year we are featuring a new mini-class for beginner cellists only, given by the Royal Academy of Music’s own specialist Lara Moore.  This is a separate class, running parallel to the other classes, and lasting 2 hours.    After that, beginners are welcome to be observers for any of the other classes and events, but cannot participate in them.

We welcome you to bring your family and friends for what promises to be a memorable day of cello playing. See you there!

We thank our very special sponsors Stringers London and Edinburgh and Junior Academy for their generous support of this event.

Notes For Parents

All family members of participants can attend at no charge, but friends must pay the observer fee.
