ENGRAINED - SURF FILM PREMIERE + Music from The Swaggers (duo)

Milton Theatre is excited to present the premiere of a new piece of Australian surf cinema, Engrained.  As well as the inaugural screening of Engrained, (produced by Darcy Ward and Mollymook local Brett Burcher), the night will feature two other surf films: Lost and Running (Nigel Devonport), and The Set Menu (Darcy Ward).  Also lending their tunes to the evenings proceedings will be hometown heroes Shaun Wessel and Matt King from The Swaggers.

ABOUT ENGRAINED
Documented over 18 months, Engrained is the brainchild and passion project of cinematographer Darcy Ward and Mollymook surfer-writer Brett Burcher.

Artistically captured on the highest quality cinematic cameras, the 15-minute film is a visual feast tied together with an underlying narration, taking the viewer on a journey to each picturesque landscape.

Following on from the award winning film Eye Sea and the success of Carpark Stories, Tunnel Vision and recently acclaimed Set Menu, Engrained is the next project in which Darcy and Brett embark, utilising their passion and talents to bring what they see and feel to the screen.

The leading locations consist of South Australia, Tasmania, Home (Mollymook/Ulladulla), South Africa and Ireland and Scotland.  The film features surfers Russ Bierke, Connor O’Leary, Louie Hynd, and Brett Burcher.
