Heartwearing family comedy about about Nick:  a single, Italian-American guy from New Jersey. The job he's been waiting for would take him away from his beloved, but annoying, grandparents. He tells them. The news doesn't sit so well. Thus begins a series of schemes to keep Nick around.

Presented in partnership with Gallo Repertory Company, this is an encore presentation from their one week showing in March 2017 and part of an international tour.  Set in a small New England university community, Edward Albee’s 1963 Tony Award winner for Best Play opens with the main characters, George and Martha, coming home from a party at her father's house. Even though the pair arrives home at two o'clock in the morning, they are expecting guests: the new young biology professor and his wife. The evening turns into a comical nightmare of escalating fighting and humiliations. 

The play has adult content. It is not recommended for those under the age of 18.

Entertaining and educational, Looking Over the President’s Shoulder will appeal to audience members of all ages. Looking Over the President’s Shoulder is a one-man play based on the real-life experiences of Alonzo Fields, Chief Butler in the White House for 21 years. From his unique insider’s perspective, Fields recalls his service to four American Presidents and their families: Herbert Hoover, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman, and Dwight D. Eisenhower.
