Rapunzel and her Witch

A new touring theatrical work for 3-7 year olds and their families, created by Kinny Gardner and The Krazy Kat Theatre Company.

In this comic and child-centred re-telling of the Grimm tale featuring two signing actors, Rapunzel is a young deaf child (puppet figure) and the Witch is a complex series of images of ‘Grandfather/ Grandmother’ archetypes. Kinny has adored this story since he was a child and has very strong visual images in mind of towers, hair, princes and a climbing rose.

This will be an accessible and family friendly relaxed performance with music, puppet figures and singing as well as fully integrated sign language. It will feature Krazy Kat’s renowned high production values.
