Join the North Wiltshire Symphony Orchestra for an Italian-themed summer concert on 17th June with guest conductor Dennis Simons. The entertaining programme includes the greats of Italian music such as Verdi’s overture to La forza del destino, Resphigi’s Pines of Rome and Mascagni’s intermezzo to Cavalleria rusticana as well as Tchaikovsky’s Francesca da Rimini, the symphonic interpretation of the tragic tale of the beautiful woman who was immortalised in Dante’s Divine Comedy.
