Performance Poetry: Sue Simmons

Susan Simmons, a local community poet, will be giving a performance of her wonderful poetry at the Rotary Club, Chippenham on Saturday 9th December to raise money for Chippenham Men's Shed. She writes about all aspects of life. Susan has performed at Glastonbury Festival, Lechlade and Bedworth festivals and worked with The Stroke Association, as well as recently working with Wiltshire Police. Although disabled herself, she continues to write and this performance is being done to raise money for The Chippenham Men’s Shed who are shedless at the moment. Her new book, Just A Slice, will be available on the night.  Refreshments will also be available. Make sure you come along and support this local lass.
