Working with ADHD and ASC
Rates of ADHD, autism and neurodivergence have been increasing amongst the general population, and it has become a popular topic in news and wellness outlets.This has left many counsellors and psychotherapists unsure how to work with this client group and unclear about how best to support someone who presents with this label.
Attendees will explore what ADHD, autism and neurodivergence are, think about how difference and disability play into the therapeutic space and use their own experience to gain a better understanding of how to work with this "new" subset of the general population.
The day will be led by Jamie de Carvalho, who is Network's Clinical Lead. He is a psychotherapist and supervisor in practice for 12 years.
