Take yourself back to the mid -90s, when there were no mobile phones, no social media, the fledgling World Wide Web had only 80 websites and the Channel Tunnel had just opened!

The charts were full of bands like The Charlatans, Suede, The Manic Street Preachers, Supergrass, Stereophonics, Blur, Oasis and Ocean Colour Scene. 

You watched the Big Breakfast, TFI Friday and Top of the Pops on TV, and Blur and Oasis were fighting it out for the number one spot. 

Britpop had taken over the charts and Cool Britannia ruled the airwaves!

Now, 27 years on, Britpop is back in a new touring theatre production from Phil Aldridge Productions, producers of the hit touring show, The Illegal Eagles.

This Is Britpop! recaptures the raw energy and optimism of the mid-90s pop charts, performing over two hours of legendary classic hits from the monster bands of the Britpop era, including Oasis, Blur, The Manic Street Preachers and The Stereophonics, in an exciting evening that will have audiences on their feet and singing along from the curtain up!
