Lead singer of Welsh rock band The Alarm Mike Peters will hit the road next spring in an intimate one-man tour.
Love, Hope, Strength will combine Mike’s music with fascinating chat and audience Q&As, visiting venues across the UK.
It coincides with the release of an exclusive self-penned multi-edition memoir of the same name.
Mike broke out of his native North Wales in 1981 with The Alarm's stunning debut album: Declaration. Earning them an American tour with U2. It heralded such chart hits as Sixty-Eight Guns, and Rain In The Summertime.
A multiple cancer survivor, he received an MBE in 2019 for his services to cancer care while continuing to tour The Alarm as headliners, in addition to major shows with The Cult, and Status Quo.
The Alarm retains a large fanbase, and core audience. Mike's new tour will feature his classic music, personal memories, and meet'n'greets before each show, as well as audience Q&As.
Mike says: “I feel very fortunate to be at this point in my career and able to head out on an intimate tour. It’s a chance for me to share my favourite music and personal stories; the absolute highs, as well as the lows and everything in between.”
Love, Hope, Strength will provide a fascinating insight into Mike’s incredible life, not only as a rock musician but as an ambassador for cancer survivors, and much more.
