ProArts and Halekalani Kula present
A Classical Soiree:  A Night of Mozart, Mahler, Prokofiev, and DeBussy

The program will begin with  “Quartet for Flute and Strings” by the beloved classical composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
We then move on to the sublime impressionistic music of Claude Debussy with a transcription for flute, clarinet, and piano of  “Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun.”
Following that we will set a record for number of performers on the stage with 11 musicians interpreting Gustav Mahler’s “Songs of a Wayfarer,” arranged by the 20th century composer Arnold Schoenberg.
