Roots School Performances of "Trinacria"

The Roots School drama class returns to ProArts to perform an original play by J.J. Minniear. 

The Story: Frightened villagers are preparing to flee when the earth suddenly begins shaking in old Sicily, once known as Trinacria. Unwilling to abandon their homes and each other, four schoolmates and an orphaned boy named Nicola vow to discover the truth behind the mysterious tremors and courageously do whatever it takes to save Sicily. Inspired by a Sicilian myth of a boy who turns into a fish, Trinacria teaches us that anything is possible when we work together, believe in ourselves, and never give up…
